1. Who We Are?
We offer virtual services related to web design and digital marketing. Our website address is: https://www.webmaintenanceus.com.
3. Media
The customer is responsible for providing all media files to the manager/web developer for any project, including but not limited to web design, social media optimization, and marketing. Stock photos are available for purchase if the customer is unable to provide the media.
The developer/project manager has the right to use images available for free on search engines (e.g., Google, Bing, Yahoo) if the customer did not provide any media files or purchase stock photos. Developers at Web Maintenance US are not obligated to check the media files for copyright. It is fully the customer’s responsibility to verify the copyright status of the media files used for their project.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
4. Content
Embedded Content From Other Websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
5. Hosting and Domain Renewal
The customer is responsible for the yearly renewal of hosting and the domain used to create their website. Private hosting platform customers must renew the hosting and domain registration from the individual hosting dashboard at Bluehost.
Group hosting platform customers must be enrolled in a yearly subscription for hosting and domain updates. The subscription can be accessed at the following link: Web Maintenance US Hosting Subscription.
It is the customer’s responsibility to keep payment information up to date to ensure the successful hosting and/or domain renewal. Web Maintenance US has the right to delete all website files (including FTP, database, and public HTML) and the customer’s domain from the group hosting platform if the customer fails to renew hosting and domain before the expiration date.
The customer has the right to export, modify, and transfer the website information and database from the WordPress dashboard at any time.
The customer has the right to request the transfer of the domain to another hosting platform by submitting a written request to [email protected]. The request must be submitted 30 days before the hosting and/or domain expiration. Web Maintenance US has no legal responsibility over hosting and/or domains registered outside of our network.
The customer understands that it is their responsibility to promptly submit the hosting and domain renewal order. The customer acknowledges not to have any legal objections to Web Maintenance US LLC’s hosting and domain renewal policy.
6. Who We Share Your Data With?
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
How Long We Retain Your Data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This allows us to recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
What Rights You Have Over Your Data
If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where Your Data is Sent
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
7. Who on Our Team Has Access?
Members of our team have access to the information you provide us. For example, both Administrators and Shop Managers can access:
- Order information (what was purchased, when it was purchased, and where it should be sent)
- Customer information (name, email address, and billing and shipping information)
Our team members have access to this information to help fulfill orders, process refunds, and support you.
8. Google Web Fonts
For uniform representation of fonts, this page uses web fonts provided by Google. When you open a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache to display texts and fonts correctly.
For this purpose, your browser must establish a direct connection to Google servers. Google thus becomes aware that our web page was accessed via your IP address. The use of Google Web Fonts is done in the interest of a uniform and attractive presentation of our website. This constitutes a justified interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO.
If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font is used by your computer. Further information about handling user data can be found at Google Fonts FAQ and in Google’s privacy policy at Google Privacy Policy.
9. YouTube
Our website uses plugins from YouTube, operated by Google. If you visit one of our pages featuring a YouTube plugin, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. The YouTube server is informed about which of our pages you have visited.
If you’re logged in to your YouTube account, YouTube allows you to associate your browsing behavior directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.
YouTube is used to help make our website appealing. This constitutes a justified interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO.
Further information about handling user data can be found in the YouTube Privacy Policy.
10. Subscription Renewal
Customers are responsible for ensuring that a valid payment method is on file for subscription renewals. It is the customer’s responsibility to verify that payments are processed successfully and do not fail. In the event of a payment failure for three consecutive days, we will make reasonable efforts to contact the customer to resolve the issue. If we do not receive a response or the payment issue remains unresolved, all subscriptions will be canceled, and services will be discontinued.
2. Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here. After approval of your comment, your profile picture will be visible to the public in the context of your comment.
